It formed on June 1, 1992, reached its peak of 69 mph (111 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 990 mb on June 2, 1992, and never made landfall. It rapidly intensified by 34 mph in 24 hours (to 69 mph on June 2, 1992). The storm lasted 4.3 days and travelled about 629 miles (1,012 km).
