Hurricane Eta (2020) was a Category 4 hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic season. It formed on October 31, 2020, 231 mi S of Jacmel, Haiti, reached its peak of 150 mph (241 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 922 mb on November 3, 2020, and made landfall 4 times — first 18 mi SSW of Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua on November 3, 2020 as a Category 4 hurricane (138 mph). Later landfalls: 19 mi SSE of La Sierpe, Sancti Spíritus Province, Cuba on November 8, 2020 as a tropical storm (63 mph); near Islamorada, Florida on November 9, 2020 as a tropical storm (63 mph); 29 mi WNW of Citrus Springs, Florida on November 12, 2020 as a tropical storm (52 mph). It rapidly intensified by 81 mph in 24 hours (to 150 mph on November 3, 2020). The storm lasted 13.3 days and travelled about 3,930 miles (6,324 km).
