It formed on September 14, 2022, reached its peak of 138 mph (222 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 931 mb on September 21, 2022, and made landfall 6 times — first near Le Moule, Guadeloupe on September 16, 2022 as a tropical storm (58 mph). Later landfalls: near Lajas, Puerto Rico on September 18, 2022 as a Category 1 hurricane (86 mph); 14 mi SSW of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on September 19, 2022 as a Category 1 hurricane (92 mph); at 21.4°N, 71.1°W on September 20, 2022 as a Category 3 hurricane (115 mph); and more.
