Hurricane Ophelia (2017) was a Category 3 hurricane of the 2017 Atlantic season. It formed on October 6, 2017, reached its peak of 115 mph (185 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 957 mb on October 14, 2017, and made landfall 39 mi SW of Tralee, Ireland on October 16, 2017 as a Category 1 hurricane (75 mph). The storm lasted 11.3 days and travelled about 3,890 miles (6,259 km).
