It formed on September 23, 2022, 185 mi NW of Dakar, Senegal, reached its peak of 40 mph (65 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 1003 mb on September 23, 2022, and never made landfall. The storm lasted 2.8 days and travelled about 598 miles (962 km).
