Hurricane Sergio (2018) was a Category 4 hurricane of the 2018 Eastern Pacific season. It formed on September 29, 2018, 348 mi SSW of Acapulco de Juárez, Guerrero, Mexico, reached its peak of 138 mph (222 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 942 mb on October 4, 2018, and made landfall at 26.6°N, 113.0°W on October 12, 2018 as a tropical storm (52 mph). It rapidly intensified by 52 mph in 24 hours (to 121 mph on October 2, 2018). The storm lasted 13.3 days and travelled about 3,452 miles (5,554 km).
